[ Okay good. On all counts. Drake nods his approval, then takes a sip of his coffee. He'd like to see what's out there as well, but there are a few factors to consider before he hops on a bike too. ]
[ Kyna, huh? Drake likes her well enough... would trust her to look after Ephemera, at least. Even if they do fight, she obviously cares enough about him that if something was wrong she'd handle it. But... he shifts his weight a little, leaning against the counter. ]
Would you want me to come? It's cool if you don't, it can be a vacation from everything.
And I like this sorta thing. Traveling. Seeing new stuff. Getting a fight out of it, if there's gonna be a fight. It'd definitely be quieter here, though. What'd you think?
I think if it's more than a couple days out -- and it would be -- I'd have a pretty hard time hiding in a group. Kyna knows, but her friends don't. And I'd want to ask Henry if he can spare us both. If the whole guard goes on a field trip that's begging for trouble back home.
[That's a concern. Ephemera watches Drake for a moment, nodding. Sometimes, when it's quieter, he forgets that Drake has to work through these things.] Think about it? Then decide what you need to do.

We're doing okay these days. I just...I dunno. It feels like we could have this, and it could be good.
[ Drake can't help but smile back, setting his coffee down for a moment and stepping in. His hand is warm from holding the mug when he grips Ephemera's shoulder. ]
Screw okay, we're doing great. It'll be good to get out of the city. Just let me check with Henry about who's going when, and figure out a way to hide my diet.
