It's a sharp inhale as her lips part, pressing harder for a moment, before pulling back ever so, lips skimming over his.]

[ Drake smiles faintly, brushing their noses together rather than pulling back. It was a good kiss, and satisfied his curiosity to find out if there was chemistry there or just attraction. His other arm loops around her waist to keep her close. ]
[ Drake brushes his fingers across her cheek and huffs a soft laugh, enjoying the playfulness. ]
Fine, I will. You're a good kisser. But you don't have to thank me for any of it.
[ She's been kind to him, too, and good company when he desperately needs it. And if they're both without their partners and need to make quota, well. They'll have each other for that too, maybe. ]
[He is rather distracting. Whether he intends to be or not, Padmé isn't entirely certain. Yet, it doesn't stop her tongue from flicking across his thumb as it brushes against her lips.]
