"I can do that. Not with you still in all the leather, though." It's just practical, really. Warming somebody up takes a lot longer with layers in the way, besides it not being very comfortable for either of them.
Drake comes to a stop directly in front of Jesus, very much in his personal space... and lowers himself onto one knee to remove the other man's boots for him. The duster comes right to the top of them, but when he reaches out for the laces his fingers brush against the bare skin of Jesus' calf. Just for an instant, then he's humming softly and untying the knots slowly.
"Well, not that I'm about to go on about modesty..." he teases, loosening the first boot's lacing and sliding a hand up Jesus' calf to lift his leg, "but pants are actually kinda helpful for keeping your legs warm."
"What, now? No, no. It's not about how I like you, just a tip for how not to be cold." The boot slips off easily and Drake tugs his sock off after it, setting them aside to get the other. "You can wear or not wear whatever you want. Sometimes taking off the wrapping is fun, but either way I'm getting a present."
"I'm going to wear everything I own next time," he teases, balancing on his bare foot now so Drake can get the other boot and sock off. "Make you unwrap me for hours."
He grins at him. "Some of it has buckles and ties. Everything I wear to the Crucible has to be sort of bondage-y, you know?" He bends down to kiss Drake's forehead. "Still cold, babe. Get your hands on me."
"I've seen it, it's also real tight. Which is hot but not great for layering," he points out, accepting the forehead kiss and moving to comply. He starts unbuttoning the duster from the bottom with one hand, setting the other on Jesus' leg and slowly sliding it up to push the coat open as he does. "I'm down if you want to try and wear it all at once, though. Give me a challenge."
This 'nothing but outerwear and underwear' scenario is practically the opposite, but also fun. He strokes his thumb along Jesus' inner thigh, up a little higher for the next button, and then... pauses, glancing back up and quirking an eyebrow curiously. Were the socks an intentional misdirection? Drake holds eye contact as he pops the button open and slides his hand up to find out.
...apparently so.
He smirks, slipping both hands into the duster now to hold Jesus by the hips.
"So. Did you temporarily forget how clothes worked on your way down here?"
"I was in a hurry," he laughs, delighting in Drake's expression, stroking his fingers through Drake's hair. "Would you rather I came down with clothes on? You don't like what you found?"
"Not in too much of a hurry for socks, and tying your laces, and doing up all these buttons..." Drake is barely keeping from laughing himself, voice kind of sounding like he is anyway.
It's hilarious. Even more so in reality than when they'd first discussed it, months ago. Drake's fingertips dig in slightly as he gets a better grip and pushes Jesus backwards so he has to sit on the edge of the bed.
Jesus sits but he keeps Drake between his knees, grinning down at him. "I love surprising other people. I'm not usually surprised by much." Although his attic home was a lovely exception to that rule.
"That sounds like a challenge. Have I not pulled it off before?" Drake asks casually, pressing forward and nudging Jesus' legs farther apart. He seems to have abandoned the unbuttoning at this point. "Gotta fix that."
Sooner rather than later, apparently -- since with no warning at all he's ducking his head to get under Jesus' duster, nuzzling and kissing his way up his partner's inner thigh.
Drake has barely even touched him and he's already getting hard. "The things you do to me," Jesus chuckles, gasping a little at the feel of Drake's lips drawing slowly up his leg.
